We are happy to be hosting the MSC (Munich Lockpicking Colloquium) for the first time this year at muCCC. For this event, a new timekeeping system was developed: these buzzers do away with annoying cable management and send the player’s time to the game master via broadcast.
Each buzzer is small esp32 c6 which automatically searches for and connects to the PC of the game master via mDNS. The Buzzers are then associated to their respective players through their MAC Addresses.
The MSC will be held from 24.7 until 26.7. It is a friendly get-together of lockpickers, including classic competitions styles “Freestyle” and “Padlock Opening” for which the Buzzers will be used. More Information about the MSC can be found at https://msc.pm (german version only).
