One of the most famous projects of the µC³are the camp badges. From the eHaserl for the 2010 Easterhegg in Munich, to the r0ckets for the 2011 camp, to the Flow3r badges in 2023, badges have become a well known and beloved part of Chaos Communication Camp.
To give this piece of µC³history a place of honour in our rooms, we have now properly displayed all of our badges (as well as a few from other Chaos events) - framed in gold, of course!
The badges are attached with magnets and can be taken out of the frames without having to take the construction apart. This gives visitors the opportunity to touch them or play with them, for example on public Tuesdays. The construction also makes it easier to pack up the whole display and take it along to events, for example Congress.
The frames will eventually have brass exhibit signs - there’s a good reason that we have a CNC mill!
