The annual Chaos Communication Congreess took place in Hamburg between Christmas and New Year’s. Once again there were many exciting talks and workshops on diverse topics. We learned that the implementation of GPG is insecure, most Bluetooth headphones have major flaws , and of course the German electronic patient records are still broken.
But, there is also good news to report. We now know how to cook for large groups for an event and Marc-Uwe Kling and Linus Neumann called us to participate in the Digital Independecne Day at the end of the live reading from Marc-Uwe Kling. We are also participating! Take a look at our calendar for more DIDay info.
Like some other hackspaces, we also brought a few small projects with us to congress. For example, some of our members are currently building a wheelchair, and were delighted by the lively interest shown in it. Another member equipped a piano with a microcontroller and LEDs so that when you play the keys it lights up various colors. The Flow3r was once again in attendance. This time in the form of a table with various Flow3rs to make music together.
Those who could not attend the congress themselves can, with some luck, still look forward to some chaos-post, and those who cancelled their streaming provider on the first Digital Independence Day will surely find some exciting talks for their evening entertainment at https://media.ccc.de.
The congress was a great success, and we hope to see you there next year!
