Who We Are

The Chaos Computer Club Munich is the local Erfa-Kreis of the Chaos Computer Club for Munich and the surrounding area.
We are a diverse group of people (All creatures welcome!) with an interest in technology, (internet) politics, and art.

What We Do

As a hackspace, we engage with technology critically and creatively.
This means we don’t just use technology, we open it up (both hardware and software), and try to understand how it works.
Sometimes we use it for completely different purposes than originally intended.
For us, ethical aspects are also important, such as data protection, software security, or protesting against surveillance capitalism.
We also have a strong focus on the artistic and creative use of technology.

Getting to Know the Chaos: Public Tuesday

If you want to get to know us and our space, feel free to come to our Public Tuesday, which takes place every 2nd Tuesday of the month.
Around 9:00 PM, there will be a tour of our space. If you have questions about the meeting, check out our FAQs.

Events and Groups

Many of our events are open to non-members (“public”).
Please note, however, that some events are reserved exclusively for FLINTA people.

All Creatures Welcome

No matter how much or little experience you have, how old you are, whether you’re a hacker, maker, or simply curious, you are welcome!
If you’re interested in topics like coding, electronics & soldering, woodworking, laser cutting, CNC milling, 3D printing, music, textiles & sewing, etc., you’ll feel right at home with us.

Barriers

Unfortunately, our hackspace is not fully accessible.
However, our rooms on the ground floor are accessible via a ramp through the back entrance.
Unfortunately, our restroom is not wheelchair accessible.
